Webco offers a broad range of debarker tips for all sawmill debarkers. Debarker tips are subjected to extreme wear and high impact during debarking. Our tips are both manufactured and repaired with these harsh conditions top of mind, resulting in a strong and rugged tip that lasts longer.
New Debarker Tips
Webco manufactures new debarker tips that are machined with high precision tolerances to ensure the closest fit possible. We use high quality, high alloy material for our tip blanks as well as wider carbide in tip construction, preventing premature wear that happens with narrow carbide.
Debarker Tip Repairs
Webco repairs damaged tips with cost efficiency and quick turnaround times. Damaged tips are evaluated and repaired based on what carbide requires replacement. Only if a tip and carbide are damaged beyond economical repair, a tip will be completely replaced with a new barker tip. Carbide installation is done with special brazing techniques that guarantee a solid bond between the carbide and the steel.
