The machine shop at Webco Mill Supply is constantly growing and changing. Just a couple years ago we took over the other side of our building for much needed additional space and new machines. With these new toys we’ve become a mainly self-sufficient shop, having full control over the high quality standards of work that we’ve set for ourselves.
With a team that happens to have some pretty strong ‘perfectionist’ qualities, anyone who comes for a tour is blown away at how organized and tidy our machine/fabrication shop is kept. Yes, we are tooting our own horn a little bit. But really, this helps keep our business running like the well oiled machine that it is – enabling us to provide the high quality, quick service that we promise our customers.
For anyone who has not had the chance to tour our shop in person, here is a behind the scenes look at some of the going-ons at Webco Mill Supply:
Carbide A.R.M. application welding being done on a debarker feed roll
One of our milling machines at work, machining pocket for tool steel inserts
Our surface grinder doing some finishing work on conical head counter knives
Debarker arms in finishing stages, getting prepped for their Carbide Lead Edge application
Repaired debarker arms complete, waiting for their paint job
